A cloudy April Day but part of the beauty is that we can see the entire Lang House without the coverage of the Maple Trees! (More of that to follow.)
Starting from the right and looking towards the river, we have the historic wing and the new addition that was designed by Ann Scovil, another baby born in June Rubidge’s hospital (and midwifery.) Babies were born in the room closest to the viewer with the bowed window and the front window (which is now the Queen Room.)
To the left of the doorway is the main dining room, kitchen and another dining area before you get to a third dining area at the front of the house. Visitors can choose from four seating areas to view the marina and boats passing by.
