Kitchen
The kitchen is the heartbeat of Lang House with all new appliances in 2018 – refrigerator, gas stove, and dishwasher. The dining room floor is the original hard wood that withstood flooding without any damage. The kitchen floor was renovated by removing layers of flooring, sanding, and painting the original boards a color called “grain”. The small dining room and living room were completely stripped of the water-damaged engineered hardwood and covered in cedar decking boards that were stained “cedar” and made to shine with a clear coating. Throughout this area, pine wainscoting was installed.

The highlight of the room is the propane stove that replaced a propane fireplace insert. The rocks and fossils in the floor and wall were all hand picked by Bruce and Marian (retired geologists).
The view is endless, the color of the water in at sunrise and sunset are stunning.
